Look beyond the monthly premium
Deductibles, copays and coinsurance are different forms of cost sharing. Compare the premium, annual out-of-pocket maximum, network rules and exclusions together.
No benefit dollar limit does not mean no expenses
Protections against annual or lifetime dollar limits on essential health benefits differ from out-of-pocket maximums. Those maximums generally exclude premiums, noncovered services and out-of-network care.
Request an itemized explanation
Separate premiums, expected medical cost sharing, HealUSA fees, accommodation and transportation. Identify the insurer, product, eligibility conditions and written quote. Do not estimate guaranteed benefits without policy terms.
